has it yet been proven why the 80s were split so dramatically between good and bad? the good half (of movies and music especially) was sooo good, and the bad half was sooo bad. though i'm going to go out on a limb and say all movies in the 80s were good, it's just that some of them were so god awful they came right back around to being good, in that "hey, this is entertaining because i'm laughing when i'm not supposed to" way.
